Christmas Recap

We were able to go to Boise for a week and celebrate Christmas.  It's always so great to be with our families!  It's crazy how quickly the time went this last trip!  Christmas eve and morning was spent with my side of the family and then Christmas night and the entire next day we spent with Pat's family.  The rest of the time we tried to share equally!  It's always so hard, I sometimes wish we could split ourselves in two and just be with everyone the entire time!  Dylan for sure loves all the attention and having so many new things to explore!  It was a super great Christmas and we were defiantly sad to leave!!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was spent in the traditional Schofield way with gathering around the Christmas tree to read from the Bible, listening to my dad play the guitar and sing and of course drinking a glass of eggnog before bed.

Christmas Morning
Everyone was kind enough to let me and Dylan sleep until 8 and then the present opening began!  Dylan did really well for a bit, but then thought waiting for his turn to open presents was stupid so he got to help everyone open their presents too!  As always, we all got seriously spoiled!

Christmas Night
We headed over to the Rumsey's for a delicious Christmas dinner.  Alan is a professional chef and always makes us the yummiest meals, and this Christmas was no exception!  The evening was spent eating yummy food, visiting, and playing with cousin Jack!  To end the night we drove home in the snow!  It took the entire day to start falling, but I sure do love a white Christmas, even if it's only for a few hours!!
(I always do the worst job at taking pictures of the in-laws!  I feel bad harassing them with the camera!!  I need to get over it.)

The Day After Christmas
The entire day after Christmas was spent at the Holloway's and Dylan loved it!  Cousin Jack came over and they played all day long!   When Dylan wasn't chasing Jack around he was getting spoiled by his Nan and Pop!

I heart this picture so so much!  Cousin love.
