14 Months

Here we are at 14 months and if I'm being totally honest, we're struggling a little bit!  Poor Dylan cannot seem to stay healthy!  He's had at least one cold every month for the past four months which seems like way more than he (or me or Pat) should have to deal with, but it doesn't even compare to the last two weeks (full post to come)!  Despite being sick he is still so funny and we are so so glad that he is ours!  In the midst of horrible crying fits where he has been completely inconsolable he has still managed to do an elephant impression or wave bye bye and it's those little things that help me to know even though he isn't feeling great,  he is still okay!  We love him to pieces!!

Stats:
Weight: 19 pounds 2 ounces (this is the only stat I've got, and I wouldn't normally know that, but we've spent LOTS of time at the doctor recently!)

Facts/Accomplishments:
You do the worlds cutest elephant impression!
You've been doing a funny little crawl on your hands and feet (after watching the Jungle Book I realize it's just an extension of your elephant impression as Mowgli crawls the same way with the elephants (that being said, you were doing it before watching the Jungle Book))
Tooth number 7 finally popped through - I was starting to think you'd only have 6 for the rest of your life!
All this darn sickness has caused you to go way backwards in the eating and sleeping department
You've started saying "all gone" and throwing your arms up as well as "uh oh" and pulling the funniest face
You have the most adorable frowny face ever that you pull just cause you know it makes mom laugh!
You are constantly crawling around the house growling
You have got quite the temper!!!

Likes:
Your favorite words to say and things to play with are ball, books, and dogs
You love shutting doors
Your favorite games are "i'm gonna get you" and "peek-a-boo"
Your favorite songs are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the ABC song
You LOVE cuddling with your daddy!
You love to dance and are constantly adding new moves (head shaking, legs kicking, swinging your arms, and bobbing up and down!)

Dislikes:
You hate sitting in your high chair and pretty much refuse to do it (argh!)
Your little body hates amoxicillin and this month we discovered you are allergic to it!

Sick little boy and what he's looked like a good part of the last month :(

poor quality from a phone pic - but this face kills me!!

Oh how quickly we go from this...
to this!  And vice versa!

The closest thing we get to playing outside these days!  So so cold!!

Yikes little boy - between the holidays and the sickies I have not been the best at taking photos this last month!  Not to mention you never sit still anymore which makes it a tiny bit more difficult!  I sure do love you a lot though and look forward to what the next month will bring (hopefully some better health!!)
