April 2015 Family Recap

April was a good month!  It started with a bang with a big family get together for Easter!  Ryan was back from Germany to close on his house, so everyone else decided to come to our house too!  It was a bit chaotic, but I couldn't be more thankful that everyone made the effort to be here!  Jared drove all the way from Texas in one day, and Jana traveled from Idaho with her little boys (which we all know, even a shortish car ride with two little people is hard!)  It was the last time all of us will be together for a long time with my parents heading to the Philippines in a few months.  I'm so grateful for my family!  A few weeks later we got a surprise April snowstorm.  I think most people were cursing mother nature, but we loved it!  We took full advantage by building a snowman!  While we loved our one day of snow, we were also excited to have our beautiful spring weather back and enjoyed it by going to Thanksgiving Point Tulip Fest with Kimi and Lilli.  And just like every month we of course spent time playing outside!  Another big thing that happened in April is we sold our townhouse!  We had been using it as a rental for about two years and decided it was time to sell.  The first person who looked at us made an offer and just like that, it was sold!  It's so nice to not have to worry about it anymore!  At the end of the month Kimi told us about a new photo studio that was opening up and offering photos for $15!  It was too good of a deal to pass up, so last minute I made an appointment and took the kids in.  I think they turned out pretty cute!  Like I said, Apirl was good to us!!
