I know I say it every month, but really, August was another good month around here. That's not to say we don't have our moments/days, because we certainly do, but overall life around here is pretty dang good!
The hardest thing we had to do this month is say goodbye to my parents before they headed off to the Philippines for the next 18 months. We will miss them so much, but are also very excited for them. Before they left we had one last visit at our house and then went and saw them a few times while they were staying in SLC. The highlight for Dylan was riding Trax!
The whole rest of the month was spent playing! Outside, inside, at the park, the zoo, on jump houses, the aquarium, with friends and with each other! We took Neko to her first movie, Shaun the Sheep, which will be her last movie for awhile. She did pretty good as long as she could run all over the place! We celebrated cousin Lilli's sixth birthday, and Nan and Pop came down for a visit!
and, we bought a new car!!
