November 2014 Family Recap

November started out a little slow for us, I blame it on the let down of Halloween being over, or perhaps Pat switching positions at work and bringing an end to our three and four day weekends! While we are mourning the end of long weekends, I am so thankful to have him on this schedule, I was not looking forward to another night shift rotation!  The highlight of the first week of November was going to vote (but then no one we voted for won, so maybe it was the low point of the month?!?) Thankfully the month picked up for us when visitors came to town!  Pop and Nan came to town twice, once for Dylan's big 3rd Birthday.  We celebrated with donuts, cupcakes, dinner, a movie, and of course presents!  Then a couple days before Thanksgiving our favorite friends that moved to TX came for a visit.  I loved watching the two older kids run around together, we sure do miss them a lot! Last but not least, we hosted Thanksgiving at our hose where almost my entire family was able to make it (we missed you Jared!)  It was a little bit crazy with the five cousins, three of which are one and under, but it was fun to have everyone here!  We took advantage of having the crew here and the day after Thanksgiving had an Avengers party for Dylan. I love having the cousins together, even if they don't always get along!
