Oh Little-D! I can't believe how close we are to the two year mark! Honestly, kills me. You are certainly not my little baby anymore and are very much so my little boy. Lucky for me, you are still quite the cuddler! I love having you as mine and am so thankful for your daddy for giving me the opportunity to spend my days with you! Thanks for making me so so happy!
Facts/Accomplishments:
You have absolutely mastered the word "No!" Early in the month you were making a habit of screaming it at the top of your lungs at your highest pitch possible. I am thankful that as of late a simple stated "no" is seeming to suffice!
You call your Grandpa Schofield "bock" I have no idea why, but you do, and it's cute.
All day long you are pointing to things and either telling us what it is or saying "what's that?"
Your entire hand is constantly stuck all the way into your mouth
We are officially done nursing! The transition was way smoother than I anticipated it being (thanks for that little buddy!)
In place of nursing to sleep we now sing songs, you make mommy feel good by clapping each time I finish a song.
Every time the freezer opens you think you should get some sort of treat, either an ice cream or popsicle even if it's 7:30 in the morning.
You quite possibly may be the shyest little boy in the world. Most the time you aren't even sure how you feel about grandma and grandpa.
Likes:
You love seeing and pointing out water, you are a little less excited about getting in it.
Slides are one of your absolute favorites.
You are obsessed with belly buttons and thanks to one of our favorite books you call it your "bee-bo"
Speaking of books, you are finally getting to the point where you will sit down and actually let us read the words do you, however, your favorite part is still to point out all the things on the pages and say "what's that?"
Your favorite time of day is when daddy gets home from work. You scream "deee" and bee line to the garage door.
Your current favorite movie is Despicable Me and often throughout the day request the minions.
You love hitting the dogs with various kitchen items. I wish I could get you to stop. Poor pups.
You are a true "animal" lover. You like them all. Including things like flies, ants, and bees.
Dislikes:
You hate the swings! You won't even consider sitting in it by yourself.
Taking a nap. Naps almost never happen anymore before first experiencing a total melt down.
Being told no. I know, no one likes being told no, but you take it pretty hard!
Love you my adorable little boy!!
