Neko - 4 Months

Oh my little 4 month old!  You are growing and changing so much, and I love watching it happen! You're the cutest, sweetest little thing and make my mama heart happy!  You are the perfect addition to our little family.

4 month check up - length 25.75 inches - weight 14 pounds

You are constantly sucking on your bottom lip, and if not your lip your pointer finger, and if not your pointer finger your entire fist

You have a very specific cry when you are overly tired

On 8/7 you rolled from your back to your belly and I missed it!  I ran into the kitchen to grab something and came back to you on your belly!  You've done it a million times since and prefer being on your belly to your back, in fact, you've yet to go from belly to back.

You HATE your car seat.  The second the seat clicks into it's base you start crying.

You have become quite the little squealer!

You are constantly hitting yourself in the face as you're trying to figure out how your body works

You make us work hard for giggles!!

Oh Dylan you are so funny and getting so so grown up!  I often look at your and just can't believe how big you are!  You've become a little parrot and repeat everything you hear (it's dangerous!) and you talk ALL the time, that is unless you are around anyone other than our little family, then you are quite as a mouse!

You are insistent on talking to whoever I happen to be talking to on the phone.  You love to push the hang up button.

You are already so excited for Halloween and have started playing in all your dress up a lot.

I love watching you play!  You are getting more and more imaginative every day!

You love to talk in different voices and pretending to be characters.

You are constantly complaining of a belly ache, it's hard to know when it really hurts and when you are just seeking attention.

You have your first imaginary friend known as "baby dinosaur"

You've got a horrible temper and are often threatening to "hit!"

You put yourself in self regulated time out.

You rarely will let me take your photo, if you agree to it I get about 15 seconds to snap a decent one!

You are hands down the sweetest big brother!!
