Changes

Dylan has gone from looking like this in his bassinet

to looking like this

which means it's time to transition to this

both mom and baby are really struggling with the change.

I think he can fit at least a few more weeks in the bassinet, right?!?

Cheap Entertainment

This is Dylan's favorite new game/activity. Oh to be young and so easily entertained (who are we kidding, it way entertains me too)! If he's fussing I can either play this game, or show him this video clip and he's instantly happy.

Sorry that it's such a weird dimension, I took it with my iPhone, so perhaps that's why?!? Oh, and because I don't know what I'm doing. :)

Look Who's Three Months!

Another month has come and gone and Dylan continues to grow and change. I know I say it a lot, but I really do feel so blessed to be his mommy. He makes my heart happy every single day!

Stats:

Weight - 13 pounds 3 ounces

Accomplishments:

Slept through the night! 6+ hours! Hallelujah!

Reacts to his tummy being tickled

Laughs when mommy and daddy laugh

Has found his fist/fingers (and is constantly eating them!)

Has found lots of different vocal ranges

Smiles big when I say "momma loves you!"

Raises one eyebrow (so cute!)

Likes:

Laying on his play mat

Listening to music/singing

Being bounced on one leg

Sitting face out and looking at the world

Loves the mottorboat sound

Holding hands, or rather fingers

Kicking his legs

Dislikes:

Tummy time!!!

Cuddling chest to chest (unless he's asleep)

Car seat - he actually HATES his car seat - it makes life difficult

Being laid down at night - he has started fussing every time I lay him down

This isn't necessarily a "dislike" but when he hit 11 weeks he became super fussy for three days straight - I never figured out what it was all about. My best guess is a growth spurt?

Love Day

I got to spend my entire Valentine's Day with these two...

It was pretty awesome. I was totally spoiled by the hubs (as I always am). The day included lunch, presents, flowers and a homemade dinner (so delicious!) Mostly though the day just included lots of quality time and love with my two favorite men. Yay Love!!

Can you even resist kissing this face?!? I can't!

Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by putting this in print, but I think Dylan has broken the night time three hour sleep cycle! This past week he has gone down at 11 and slept until 4 - it is awesome! I can't remember the last time I got 5 consecutive hours of sleep and I am loving it, it is seriously heaven sent!

Dearest little boy, lets keep this up, or perhaps even achieve a 6 hour stretch!
