Neko - 19 Months

My little Neko girl, simply put I adore you.  You are so lovable and darling and funny and all the good things in the world.  You have such a fun, spunky, dare devil personality, but you are also a shy mama's girl.  You love your big brother fiercely and look up to him so much.  Nothing makes me happier than watching you two together.  I'm so lucky to have you as mine.

You have become super independent.  You want to do everything on your own.  I try so hard to let you, but it's hard for me to let go!
You've become quite the little climber, your favorite destination is the kitchen table.
You're adding new words all the time, your latest are bye, beau, duck, and no.
You've started to throw some pretty intense tantrums (preview of those terrible 2's!?!)
You hate nursery.  Like really really really hate it.
You are obsessed with toothbrushes.  You are constantly sucking on one.
You are in love with Minnie Mouse.  It's darling.
You love music and dancing.  Your current favorite is Taylor Swift.  You've turned us all into Swifties.

November 2015 Family Recap

The end of October is always kinda a bummer at our house, but we try not to let us get too down, November is Dylan's birthday month after all, and Thanksgiving too!

We started the month with a trip to the aquarium to celebrate the birthday's of our friends Emma and Charlie!  We sure do love them!!

We had our 4 year and 18 month check up where the doctor confirmed what I already knew - happy, healthy, growing, silly kiddos!

We celebrated Dylan's Fourth Birthday with a Batman/Spiderman friend party!  It was a little crazy, but he loved having all of his friends there to party with him!  I'll write more about his party on another post!

D and I decided we couldn't wait any longer to put up the Christmas Tree, so for this first time ever we got it out before Thanksgiving!  It was totally the right choice!  Both kids loved decorating it!

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at home with Nan and Pop.  I can't express enough how much the kids love them!  It was super fun having them here for a few days!  Pat smoked a delicious turkey while everyone else pitched in on the sides, it was a perfectly yummy low key Thanksgiving (even if D wouldn't cooperate for a picture with Nan and Pop!)  I am so thankful for this little crew of mine.  My heart is full.

We had our first snowstorm of the year.  Dylan enjoyed it MUCH more than Neko did.  I can't say I blame her, it's hard to move in all that winter gear!

And just like always, there was plenty of playing and picture taking happening all month long!
